The LEGION TOOLS® Sanding Discs are made from sharp aluminum oxide abrasive which provides increased life, fast cut rate, and consistent finish. The sand pads are bonded with a cloth using long silk flannelette, which promises great sticking ability and makes disc replacements easy and quick, but will not fall off when installed in use. The grit number is printed on the backing of the sanding disc. It will never happen that the granule is more aggressive than the number printed on the backing. Which grit it says on the backing and it’s exact the grit. The larger the number is, the finer the grain is. Start with a low grit to efficiently power through most of the material, then switch to a high-grit paper to smooth the surface for the final stain.
